The admission requirement for the Master Medical Systems Engineering is an engineering or natural science Bachelor's degree in a field such as medical technology, electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mechanical engineering or process engineering with a grade of at least "good" (up to 2.4 in the German academic grading system). As a further requirement, a proof of sufficient English language skills is required. Further details for admission can be found on the information page for prospective students.

Applicants with a German university degree (regardless of their nationality) can apply directly to the university by 15 March for the next summer semester.
